Welcome to BAYSTAGES
Welcome to BAYSTAGES, the only organization dedicated to all live performing arts in the Bay Area! Our mission is to support the local performing arts community by assisting both the resident and visiting performing arts patron in making informed decisions about the myriad of live entertainment options in San Francisco and the surrounding Bay Area. Our reach extends to the North, East and South Bay regions.
We fulfill our mission with a range of communications offerings including:
- BAYSTAGES, a free monthly, pocket-friendly preview magazine delivering intriguing editorial content and an extensive section of curated event listings, spotlights and recommendations.
- SPOTLIGHT, a free weekly email containing news, reviews and photos, special offers and ticket or merchandise give-aways.
- BAYSTAGES.com, which serves as an ever growing entertainment reference resource, with news and reviews complementing a searchable database custom designed for the performing arts patron. No more wading through walking tours, bake sales and basket-weaving "events" when you are looking for theatre, music or dance.
We want to hear from you with suggestions about how BAYSTAGES can serve you better. We now have an event submission page so that any performer or producer who has an upcoming event can submit it for review and inclusion in the database. We will also be adding reference features on local venues, arts organizations and individual performers. If you have an idea, please pass it along.
